If the past 18 months have taught us anything it is that our home is our sanctuary. They have become our main source of comfort, our only retreat. Having spent an unprecedented amount of time in our homes, what most of us have continually yearned for is opulence and grandeur, or at the very least, something different from the norm. It’s fair to say that many lessons have been learnt during this period and, more than ever, we appreciate just how much time we spend in our homes. As a consequence, home interior design is alive with variety once again. Particularly in bath and shower rooms as they present the perfect opportunity for escapism, the chance to step away from reality and indulge in solitude and luxury. Our standard routines have become rituals of self-care that have allowed us either headspace and peace, or revitalisation and rejuvenation.
As we now move into a new era, many of us are reflecting and want to make changes, indeed many of us have changed personally, and as a result, so have our home decor tastes. Our first deep-framed shower space, the Portrait Slider shower enclosure is elegant and distinguished. The slow closing mechanism is so gentle it simply glides to a close so that crossing the threshold into the escapism of a deeply satisfying shower is simply seamless. Leave the world behind and drift into your choice of head space.
Our research and development team have spent over 18 months perfecting this design to achieve both a soft close mechanism and an elegant design. Available in three stunning finishes - matt black, brushed aged bronze and brushed gold - there is an option to complement every design so that the Portrait frame is the perfect outline to your window of escape. This is demonstrated beautifully in this stunning installation we completed recently in partnership with Edwins Bathrooms. This project saw a combination of the matt black portrait slider accompanied by marble tiles and monochrome details that culminate in an evocative space that not only looks intriguing on the eye but also leaves you with an irresistible urge to touch.
