Simply Bathrooms were appointed to design the Seddon Family Bathroom in Thames Ditton, part of a wider renovation that saw three modern bathrooms created within the same home. The brief was to deliver a space that felt calm, spacious, and practical enough to support the routines of a busy family, while maintaining a refined and contemporary aesthetic.

The design centres on a bright and airy palette, with crisp white surfaces helping to open up the room and create a sense of space. Soft, layered lighting enhances this effect, giving the bathroom a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels both relaxing and functional for everyday use.

To introduce contrast and character, dark blue porcelain tiles with gentle veining were selected within the shower area. These rich tones add depth to the scheme while still maintaining the calm, balanced feel that runs throughout the space.

The shower enclosure features our View 19H walk-in with hinged panel in brushed nickel, chosen to complement the tile palette and the wider design of the room. The hinged panel offers practical splash protection while maintaining the open, walk-in feel, making it a smart solution for a family bathroom that sees frequent use. The brushed nickel finish adds a subtle warmth and sophistication, tying the design elements together seamlessly.
